From Developing Management Skills by David A. Whetten and Kim S. Cameron, eighth edition:
"The Type A Personality Inventory consists of four behavioral tendencies: extreme competitiveness, significant life imbalance, strong feelings of hostility and anger, and an extreme sense of urgency and impatience. Scores above 12 in each area suggest that you have a pronounced tendency toward Type A behavior."
And also: the mean score is 45.83. Top quartile is 51 and above.
I scored a 15 in Competitiveness, 11 on Work Involvement, 12 on Hostility/Anger, and 15 on Impatience/Urgency, for a total of 53.
Crap.
